After applying paint to the hull I was ready to take the Kayak to the lake. Saturday Sept. 4 we went to Sauer Lake which is a small lake just south of Detroit Lakes, MN. It was a beautiful day with slight winds, a few puffy clouds and temps in the upper 60s to lower 70s. I was very pleased with the way the kayak handled - very responsive and quick. My daughter and son-in-law were with us so we all got to take our turns paddling around. Lots of fun!!
